Selamat datang. Welcome to Selaras Cliff — a whitewashed retreat above the Indian Ocean, where an infinity pool spills into the horizon and the days are yours to lose.
Selaras means in tune — in harmony. It’s the whole idea of this place: whitewashed walls that hold the cool of the stone, wide openings that let the salt air move straight through, and an infinity edge that erases the line between pool and ocean.
Perched on the limestone cliffs of the Bukit Peninsula, above Uluwatu’s surf, the villa faces nothing but the Indian Ocean and the long amber light of the afternoon. Indoors and sea blur into one. You’ll find yourself barefoot by the second morning and unhurried by the third.
“The horizon at golden hour, the pool gone still, not a sound but the sea below.”
Every suite opens to the sea. Rates are per night, including breakfast at the cliff and all the quiet you can hold.
A glass-walled retreat where the bed faces nothing but water. Wake to the surf below and step straight onto a private sun deck.
Your own plunge pool at the cliff’s lip, a shaded daybed, and an outdoor rain shower under the open Bukit sky.
Two bedrooms carved into the headland, a long infinity edge, and a stone table built for slow seafood dinners with friends.
An intimate upper loft for two — a soaking tub by the window, a private terrace, and the best sunset seat on the whole cliff.
Tell our concierge what would make the day, and it’s arranged before you’ve finished your coffee. From the pool at dawn to the last lantern at night.
Plan your stayForty metres above the surf, the water runs straight to the horizon. Swim at first light before anyone else stirs.
Our chef meets the morning boats at Jimbaran and cooks the catch at your stone table — grilled over coconut husk, salt in the air.
The legendary Uluwatu and Bingin breaks are minutes away. We arrange boards, a guide, and a lounger waiting at the beach club.
Roll out a mat on the deck as the sky turns amber, then a barefoot massage with frangipani oil in the open-air spa.
Glide out to the reef at Nusa Penida or a hidden cove, snorkels and a picnic packed, the crew handling every detail.
Fresh papaya and Balinese coffee at dawn, an unhurried day, and a lantern-lit dinner as the horizon dims. Nothing to rush.

We didn’t leave the cliff for four days. Every morning that infinity pool, every evening that horizon. It reset something in us.
The chef’s seafood table was the meal of the trip — the whole grilled snapper, the sound of the waves. Effortless, warm, unforgettable.
Selaras really does mean harmony. White walls, cool stone, endless blue — it’s the calmest I’ve felt in years.
